1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using New Artist Source (“NAS,” “we,” “our,” “the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

NAS provides tools for creators to upload content, monetize their work, run ads, sell videos, and offer subscription‑based access. NAS also provides visitors with access to creator content, profiles, and community features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a monetized account. You must provide accurate information and maintain only one account unless otherwise approved.

NAS may require identity verification for creators participating in monetization programs.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • All activity that occurs under your account

  • Ensuring your content complies with these Terms

  • Ensuring your payment and tax information is accurate

NAS may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or misuse.

 

4. Content Ownership & License

Creators retain ownership of all content they upload.

By uploading content to NAS, you grant NAS a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to:

  • Display your content

  • Distribute it within the Platform

  • Promote your content and profile

  • Deliver your content to subscribers, buyers, and viewers

This license ends when you delete your content, except for:

  • Content already purchased by users

  • Content used in NAS promotional materials

  • Content required for legal or compliance purposes

5. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or distribute:

  • Copyright‑infringing material

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content

  • Hate speech or harassment

  • Fraudulent or misleading content

  • Malware or harmful code

  • Ads or content promoting illegal activity

NAS may remove content at its discretion.

6. Monetization Programs

NAS offers multiple monetization systems:

6.1 Advertising System

Creators may:

  • Upload image ads

  • Upload video ads

  • Run CPC/CPV campaigns

  • Monetize their videos with pre‑roll ads

Creators are responsible for ensuring ads are legal, accurate, and non‑infringing.

NAS may reject or remove ads at any time.

6.2 Pro System (Subscription)

Creators may subscribe to the Pro tier to access:

  • Unlimited uploads

  • Pro badge

  • Featured placement

  • Increased storage

  • Video downloads

Pro fees are non‑refundable.

6.3 Channel Subscription System

Creators may:

  • Create subscription plans

  • Offer exclusive content

  • Earn recurring revenue from subscribers

Creators are responsible for delivering promised content.

NAS is not responsible for subscriber disputes.

6.4 Self‑Hosted Ads

NAS may run:

  • Site‑wide ads

  • Video ads

  • VAST/VPAID ads

  • Image ads

Creators may not block or interfere with NAS ads.

6.5 Paid Videos (Selling Videos)

Creators may:

  • Sell individual videos

  • Sell movies

  • Set their own pricing

Paid videos are non‑refundable digital goods.

 

7. Payments & Payouts

NAS uses Stripe Connect (Express) for all creator payouts.

7.1 How Payments Work

When a buyer purchases content or a subscription:

  • Stripe collects the payment

  • Stripe assigns the creator’s share

  • Stripe assigns NAS’s platform fee

  • Stripe holds funds for 2–7 days for fraud protection

  • Stripe releases payouts according to NAS’s payout schedule

NAS does not store or process payment information.

7.2 Payout Schedule

Creators are paid:

  • Weekly (default)

  • After meeting the minimum payout threshold (e.g., $50)

  • After passing Stripe’s identity verification

NAS may delay payouts for:

  • Fraud review

  • Chargeback risk

  • Policy violations

  • Incomplete verification

7.3 Taxes

Stripe handles:

  • 1099‑K forms

  • W‑9 collection

  • Tax reporting

Creators are responsible for:

  • Reporting income

  • Paying applicable taxes

  • Complying with local tax laws

NAS does not provide tax advice.

7.4 Chargebacks & Disputes

If a buyer disputes a charge:

  • Stripe handles the dispute

  • The creator is responsible for evidence

  • The creator is responsible for chargeback fees

  • NAS is not liable for losses

8. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by the NAS Refund Policy.

In general:

  • Digital goods (paid videos, movies) are non‑refundable

  • Pro subscriptions are non‑refundable

  • Channel subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled

  • Ad purchases are non‑refundable once delivered or served

NAS may issue refunds at its discretion in cases of:

  • Duplicate charges

  • Fraud

  • Technical errors

9. DMCA & Copyright

NAS complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Creators must:

  • Upload only content they own or have rights to

  • Respond to copyright disputes

  • Remove infringing content when notified

NAS may terminate repeat infringers.

10. Termination

NAS may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Fraud or suspicious activity

  • Chargeback abuse

  • Illegal content

  • Harassment or abuse

  • Failure to complete identity verification

Creators may delete their accounts at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

NAS is not liable for:

  • Creator content

  • Loss of earnings

  • Subscriber disputes

  • Chargebacks

  • Platform downtime

  • Data loss

  • Unauthorized access to accounts

NAS is provided “as is” without warranties.

12. Changes to Terms

NAS may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
